Possessing the I Ching book is having the Sage as a companion. This amazing book says that in comparison to the Sage (or god, universe, creator, higher power or what you will), we are babes in the woods. As a child, we were not ashamed to seek guidance from our parents and teachers, who were our gods.  By seeking out the counsel of the I Ching, we gain the perspective of the Creator.

The I Ching speaks the simplest of truths, and thus the wisest. It explains that no community can survive without a dependable source of pure water. Similarly, humans cannot survive without a reliable source of spiritual nourishment. Each of us needs two wells: an external source of guidance, such as the I Ching, and an internal source of guidance, which is our own good character.  The I Ching has survived countless civilisations through thousands of years for a simple reason: it is an inexhaustible source of spiritual nourishment.  It gives us the building blocks to a successful life.

The I-Ching is based on simple energetic principles, and the dynamics between Yin and Yang. When fully understood, these dynamics reveal everything about our experiences in time, how they change, and what they mean.

However, the I Ching requires a few things of us first:

·       That we suspend our mistrust of the Unknown and allow the Sage to lead us. If you think the I Ching is just a book, it will be just that.

·       That we quiet the clamour of our ego for comprehensive answers to our questions for life. The I Ching teaches us not how to get from A to Z but how to get from A to B, B to C, and then from C to D. The Sage travels step by step, dealing only with what is immediately at hand. By doing the same we fall in step with the Creative power of the Universe.

·       That we unstructure our attitude. When we are unstructured and open, we allow the Sage to guide us safely and joyfully through life.

While the I Ching serves as the external well of nourishment, it is invaluable aid in developing and cleansing the internal well of our good character. When approached with a sincere heart, it will reveal the fundamental issues of one’s life, and instil the values necessary to successfully negotiate those issues.

 The I Ching has been my guide, mentor, friend for the last sixteen years. I bought the I Ching book from a bookstore in Hyderabad in July 1995 little knowing what it was. The jacket simply said it was the book of Changes and a Guide to Life’s Turning Points. Something compelled me to buy the book. I honestly thought it was a self help book.

When I came back to Kolkata and opened it, it was quite something else. It was an oracle! And even then, I did not know how much this book would be a blessing. There are no accidents in life. The book chose me as much as I chose it. And from there began a new journey into a better, balanced life. With my countless consulting, sometimes more than one in a day, I have gradually internalised its energy. I consult it for a specific issue or a general advice. Sometimes, when it is not possible to consult the book when I need its urgent advice, I instinctively know what it would say. However, consulting the book has no substitute.

To me, the I Ching is the voice of god speaking to me directly, pure love and no agenda or interference with free will. By consulting the I Ching, I cut through all the grossness of duality, sever the grip of the mind and enter straight into a clear space to receive true guidance. I seem to reach an illumined space of beautiful white light. The oracle is extremely scientific, just as it is most practical, and also the highest spiritual. It is a living, loving teacher who is available for consulting 24/7.

Just a week ago, I consulted the I Ching for guidance if a specific date would be appropriate to launch a new project. I wanted to plan accordingly. The Sage gave a gentle rap on the knuckles, when I drew the ‘youthful folly’ hexagram (mountain over water) that advised me to quiet the demands of the ego to plan and strategise, concentrate only on the moment, and do what it asks of me. Only in such an open attitude, will the Sage be able to guide me safely and joyfully. I was quickly back to an attitude of humility and surrender!

I revere it as a holy scripture that guides me into truth and integrity in the shortest possible time. Students and adherents of I Ching reach their destination much faster by following the advice of the book. There is not an extra word or energy here. It contains impeccable and highest wisdom in condensed form. Living in close partnership of the I Ching keeps one continuously into the path and in balance. A true abiding with it leads to progressively more beautiful hexagrams and openings for the spirit to flourish. The I Ching is a dispassionate teacher – it demonstrates both rewards and punishments for the consequences of our actions. It can never be manipulated by ego games.

The most beautiful aspect of the book is its interactive nature. It partners and journeys with me at all times. It always meets me halfway, silently, with respect and honour. It picks me up when I fall and get hurt, gently shows me how to heal and get back. It insists I take responsibility for all my actions, internally and externally. I always got into trouble when my ego asked me to disregard the advice of the Sage, thereby causing disturbance and even disruption in my spiritual progress. At such times, the advice of the Sage is stern and asks for disconnection with my inferior self.

I very well remember a time, almost 15 years ago, when a friend of mine told me of a fabulous past life regression programme he had attended. I desperately wanted to attend too, but the next one was in Hawai. In my ego’s impulsive pushing, I wanted to go to Hawai, though I did not have the money even for a train ride to Delhi. I consulted the I Ching with my desperate agenda that it should give me the go ahead. The Sage asked me to refrain from any action, as inferior influences were in the forefront. I refused to listen, continued to make crazy plans, and tried to influence the I Ching to support. In the next consulting, its advice was a more dire warning and I attracted the ‘Darkening of the Light’ (earth over fire)hexagram. The advice was to immediately correct my attitude, as action from desperation will extinguish my own inner light, and block the aid of the Creative. It took all my moral muscle to give up and abide by the Sage advice. By meticulous adherence to the Sage’s advice, I soon came out of the darkness & disbalance.

At work, many times my headstrong nature would want me to push and fight, argue and control. I remember the day I was all ready to go and fight with a senior management boss, armed with my arguments. I thought a quick look at the I Ching would help me in my mission. Oh no! I attracted the hexagram ‘Obstruction’ (water over mountain) that said that as much as I want to blame another, in all likelihood the true obstruction was in my own thinking. The sage asked me to retreat into self-examination and self-correction. Of course I gave up the ‘I’m right’ campaign, and saved myself from a serious mistake. That very boss called me the next day and gave me a plum project right after my heart.

The advice is always practical and workable. I have found that reaching a good place of balance and harmony with the Sage takes hard work, commitment and time, and can be lost in a moment of ego’s enticement for self aggrandisement. The advice of the I Ching is simple – the more aligned you are with higher principles, the more influence you wield. We hold all kinds of motivations at all times, some lower ego impelled, some higher and spiritual. The Sage simply encourages us to make the higher choice at all times.

When you toss the coins, you form a matrix that translates into a hexagram. You are asked to toss the coins six times, which gives the formation of the six sheaths from the grossest to the subtlest as every aspect of one’s energy is checked. I see Goddess Tara as the overseeing energy of the I Ching.

So the I Ching is an oracle, a book of signs. It may take a lifetime to learn to recognise the signs and the combinations. Very few people have got an insight into the combinations. For me, it is enough to have three coins, a pencil and a paper to work with it. The I Ching works with eight elements of nature, which form a trigram depending on how you toss the coins. A trigram is a formation of three lines, either straight or broken.  Two trigrams combine to form a hexagram. So every time you toss the coins, you would get either an even or odd number. An even number gives a broken line, and an odd number gives an unbroken line. The pattern of these lines decides your hexagram. One now goes to the book and reads the hexagram number that one has  drawn.

The trigrams you draw show the working of your mind at the particular time.

Drawing the trigram water means there is emotional turmoil.

Drawing the trigram wind denotes there is power which needs to be channelled or it will be frittered away,

Drawing the trigram fire denotes a passion that needs to be contained and regulated,

Drawing the trigram mountain donates solace and solitude that needs to be anchored,

Drawing the trigram thunder denotes action that needs to be delinked from ego,

Drawing the trigram lake denotes placidity that needs to be delinked from lethargy,

Drawing the trigram earth denotes surrender that needs to be delinked from resignation,

Drawing the trigram heaven denotes divinity that needs to be anchored in humility.

How does the combination of the trigrams work, in order for the hexagram to give the amazingly accurate advice in the moment?

It’s a deep science. The two trigrams are placed one on top of the other. What comes in the bottom is where you are now, and what comes in the top is your tendency or predisposition.  So at any particular moment you are locked in a particular matrix. The matrix opens out into a reading of where you are and what is the correction required. The I Ching does not prescribe a perfect way of being. It has no specific recommendation. It simply brings you back to balance. A practitioner would notice that each hexagram contains the deep grounding message of the I Ching. You can touch the deep Taoist philosophy in every hexagram. It is implied rather than stated. So if one tries to draw absolute ideas from the I Ching, one would brilliantly miss the point. It is like the forever changing dance of Shiva.

There are 64 combinations of the 8 elements, hence 64 hexagrams. There are in all 64 ways of being in the 3^rd Dimension. Everybody in 3D is locked into these 64 ways of being. So the I Ching is a complete advice for us at all times.

I bless the day I found the Sage through the I Ching. The times I have blundered are the ones when I did not walk with the Sage. The Sage teaches in an almost imperceptible way. That is how light it is. I did not even notice that I was deep in lesson from spirit for quite some time. I bow to its wisdom.

EMF Balancing Technique

The Electro Magnetic Balancing Technique, popularly known as EMF is a most elegant empowerment of a human being. This is the time of unprecedented human evolution. Our energetic anatomy has evolved much beyond the basic 7 chakra system to take in the increasing light quotient. We are carrying more energy than ever before. The electro magnetic field of the earth is transforming and the human electro magnetic system is also aligning with it. After all, we are electro-magnetic in nature. The EMF Balancing Technique is a loving and evolutionary way of rewiring our energetic system.

We are a part of the Cosmic Lattice (Universal Energy Source) simply by virtue of our existence. Our individual energy field or UCL ( Universal Calibration Lattice)  is our personal connection to the Cosmic Lattice.

The movements are graceful and simple to perform. The person receiving the session may give intent for almost anything – from healing to Self-knowledge to simple stress reduction to the reconnection of their DNA. As the session progresses, a rewiring of the individual’s energy field occurs, and a new order is created within the field, producing a stronger structure to receive energy from the Unlimited Source (the Cosmic Lattice). After the connections have been made, we often see a dramatic increase in the co-creating process of life. The determining factor is soul’s growth. There are thirteen phases in the complete system of the EMF Balancing Technique, each phase containing a session with a distinct form and focus. In the first four phases, the practitioner completes a unique series of graceful tai chi like movements while the client lies fully clothed on a massage table. Most of the movements involve the passing of the practitioner's hands through the portions of the Universal Calibration Lattice of the client that completely surround the body to a distance of 2 feet all around. During some parts of the session the practitioner will gently place their hands on the body to facilitate the flow of energy. 

The focus of Phases V-VIII is the Practice of Mastery in everyday life. These phases strengthen the energetic patterns of mastery and lead to a fuller expression of the attributes of mastery you already carry within you.

In Phases IX-XII, one gains a deeper understanding of one's Core Energy as the ultimate expression of oneself, your “Infinite I”.

The Phase V template encompasses an area that includes the Heart Center, High Heart Center, the throat, all the small energy vortices around the mouth, and the center on the tip of the nose.

Phase VI - Templates of Infinite Compassion
There are two separate templates in Phase VI, one for each hand. The area that each template encompasses includes the energy center in the middle of the hand and all the small energy vortices throughout the fingers.

Phase VII - Templates of Infinite Presence

Conversations with Lao Tzu ~ Part IV, Nothingness

'Now what?' I asked. 'Now nothing', Lao Tzu replied. Ah! That's a big one, I thought, smiling inwardly. When the Master speaks, don't go for the casual meaning. Here I was, sitting with the Master of Nothingness. 

So how does one take forward a conversation on Nothing with the great Lao Tzu? I decided to proceed with caution here. Lao Tzu was lying back on a rustic deck chair, without a care in the world. He is certainly the most content person I have ever met. Every cell in his body is peaceful.

I decided that quietly observing him would probably be the wisest way to satiate my curiosity on 'nothingness'. Why expect a discourse, when he was right beside me, transmitting the energy. Why not open my heart chakra and allow myself to 'absorb' the lesson. Feeling pleased at this insight, I made myself as peaceful as possible, asked my mind to take a nap rather than chatter, and entered my heart chakra. 

After a while, I felt my pulse slowing down, as I slipped into a deeper peacefulness. My heart filled with reverence, not specifically for the Master, but for everything around me. A choking feeling overcame me, as I was suffused with gratitude for being here now. My eyes brimmed over as I watched this rare experience of gratitude soften my heart. 'so this is what a melting heart feels like', I thought, as I experienced a dissolving of my finite contours. I could understand the magnanimity of the great being beside me, who so easily fulfilled my desire to know what love felt like. This was the first time I had experienced the overwhelming feeling in a non-directed, impersonal way. The entire world was enveloped in this mystical moment. The world appeared brighter, the colours were more intense, less solid. Almost translucent. Time stood still - for god knows how long! There was nothing inside me, no thought, no feeling, no boundary even. 

But yes, there was a crispness, an alertness or clarity I had not experienced before. It was as if the secret codes of a combination lock were tumbling into place, and finally there was a click! In that moment of heightened existence, I simply knew why the sun rose every day, why the seasons came, why we took birth and died. I saw circles with circles, designs within designs. 

Lao tzu sat beside me in perfect stillness, and I knew that I knew that I knew.

Conversations with Lao Tzu - Part III ~ love

'The primary purpose is love, the secondary purpose is surrender'. Ah! My attention was caught more by the word surrender. That is where I felt inadequate. How does it happen? The Master's answer was so startling in its simplicity that I was dumbfounded. 'It comes from the part of you that is already surrendered.'

As I sat and mulled over this issue that had vexed me forever, I felt tremendous waves of relief pass over me. I 'got it' that I did not have to make surrender happen. It already existed as my soul design. It was not a missing piece, a serious lack that I had to find, fix and lock into place.

His presence had the power to unlock the deep mysteries of my heart on its own. The surrender happened in the allowing of it. I had simply build barriers against it. Yes, I am a control freak. I had kept surrender securely locked. In that moment of relief washing over me, I enjoyed the falling away of some weight, and the unlocking of shackles. I felt so light, I was sure I would levitate in a moment. What a release. His mere presence created such a profound sense of safety, that holding on was an act of pure futility. I savoured the bliss for a long time. Safety, (that he radiated), was a key ingredient for letting one's guard down and allowing surrender to happen.

'And then comes love', he shot a thought through my head. I felt nervousness in my solar plexus. As if the entire universe contracted into it. I realised I had gone on an amagdilla response on that word. How soon I had lost the surrender! Catching myself, I immediately began to relax and let go. I remembered I was safe, and could allow the soft, vulnerable, fragile to emerge. These parts had been locked up, and even forgotten for a long time. When one truly loves, one is seated on the flower of vulnerability. All guards are down. The passion is allowed to emerge. How can one love passionately and not want to surrender? I was beginning to see the fusing of the two ~ surrendered love.

The beautiful Lord Gauranga dances with his hands held up, face upturned. It is a gesture immortalised in sculpture, paintings and temples. I have often looked upon him and wondered, 'what is the secret, powerful emotion that Mahaprabhu, Rumi, Bulle Shah felt for their beloved? What secret passion did they burn with, that they poured into their poetry? Their creative fire sears the reader even today. Why was I a beggar to the second hand taste of their ecstasy? Why did the rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam keep me awake through half the night? Why?

Love. I look at Lao Tzu. What does love mean for him? He looks so empty of self. Does he too savour the unimaginable heights and depths in love? What truly happens when one fully surrenders to one's beloved? When one does not hold back even a shred of anything? When love is trusted more than life itself? I guess it ceases to matter if it is reciprocated or not. Having the opportunity to surrender, hands up, drenched in ecstasy of love, with the Divine as beloved, would be a rhapsody that is complete in itself. Laila lost all sense of personal boundary in love, so that when someone asked her name, she replied, 'Majnu'.

Can love be taken to such scorching depths of surrender? A total dissolving that even the lovers are lost, and only love remains. I have only read of such love that Radha had for Krishna. If I really touched that love, I would blister.
Lost in reverie, I realised with a jerk that I had led myself into a new world, in an unguarded moment. The un'guarded' held such promise. Lao Tzu was watching me with a glint in his eye.

The Mayan Calendar predicts the end of a great cycle in December 2012. And with that, comes the end of the cycle of Patriarchy. Every 13,000 years, Earth enters into a new cycle. Our planet has now entered the Cycle of the Divine Feminine. The divine feminine aspect in both women and men is called out to now, to create a new earth.  And it is specially the responsibility and honour of the female energy to lead Planet Earth back into the Light as the Grand Cycle returns towards the center of the Galaxy. The preparation of this great Shift has been underway for a long time.

The most remarkable phenomenon today on planet earth is the Great Wave of Healing. The Industrial Revolution transformed lives in the 18th century, the Age of Reason made God unfashionable. Descartes created a revolution by claiming 'I think, therefore I am'. And now, the last 100 years sees humans claiming their emotions. The late 20th & the 21st century is the revolution of humans wanting to heal their psychological wounds, traumas & inner child. People began to say 'I don't want to be unhappy any more'. 

Our planet became the planet of healing. The proliferation of health food stores, popularity of the alternative health movement, Reiki, New Age bookstores, yoga and meditation centers, organic gardening, newer & faster healing techniques are visible in every community. We have resurrected the healing temples, and the healers, therapists, coaches, shamans and change agents have the new teachers. The truths of the ego and its devious games & control of our minds began to be revealed. The truths of mass mind control started tumbling out. 'Energy' became the new currency. More and more people are recognizing how the ego (in the negative way) feeds on our shadows and unhealed parts, and healing & 'wholing' is the way to come out of its grip. As people are completing their healing journeys, they are connecting to a new energy ~ that of the heart. The new found heart energy is connecting people to their passions, and a deeper understanding of why they incarnated. 

When one starts living from the heart, amazing things begin to happen. Our heart connects us to a very sweet space, and for the first time, we feel an absence of anxiety & fear. We meet each moment with a smile, and live each day in fulfillment. The past ceases to haunt, and the future ceases to worry. We slip into an ease with the Now.  We trust the universe to lovingly ( & abundantly) provide in every way. 

Living as a Divine Human as we enter the Cycle of the Divine Feminine

As the trust and surrender happens, something else begins to emerge. All our life energies that were consumed in issues of survival, coping & providing for oneself and family, becomes free and unhooked. Abundance is no longer an issue. Suddenly, one has more energy & money available for other things. With this happens a growing relationship with the Divine, with our Source. We are knocking on our soul's door. More and more we begin to see the interplay of god with everything. We are ready for true love for the divine to open in our hearts. Spirituality and awakening of our soul is the natural progression to healing. We oftentimes confuse healing with spirituality, but they are two very different things. 

The doorway to the soul is through the heart. When we come out of our head, and take residence in our hearts, we trigger powerful changes at every level of our existence. Suddenly, living in the same world, we  relate to it in a very different way. 

From Struggle to Surrender: The heart puts us at ease. It shows us how to live in the now. It is a peaceful and unhurried, moment to moment existence. Unlike the ego (that loves to house in the mind), the heart does not constantly frighten us. On the contrary, we feel held and loved by the universe. And that is the ground for surrender. One can never surrender if one is worrying for survival. Living in surrender is a sign that the soul is active. We put down our battle gear, let go our resistance and are ready to flow with the universal design. This surrender is not a passive giving in, it is an active allowing and stepping into the divine play. 

Body Consciousness awakens: The heart is our body's best friend. The heart has many dimensions, but it is a physical organ first, and it loves the body . Ego is antagonistic to the body. It kept us in fear, anxiety, resistance and defensiveness. It recreates toxic emotional charge in our body again and again. It keeps us in addictive relationships. It creates fear of following our passion. It keeps us away from rest and a wholesome balanced living. For the ego the body is a mere object to satisfy desires and ambitions. The only intention of the ego is to perpetuate itself, which is always at our cost. Let it be clear that the ego though guised as a friend, has always been against us! Not so with the heart. The heart emerges as the authentic leader ~ one who has our evolutionary best 'whole-heartedly'. 

Our body is the biggest Mystery School: With heart consciousness leading, all organs and parts of the body align and fall in sync with the new heart. It is a wise, compassionate, empowering leadership. Its a joyous existence for us, as each organ can now step into its higher purpose of existence. 'The law of god is written in the heart' says the Bible. We understand the higher & deeper purpose of the complex machinery that is our body. Our body becomes our best friend, and divine consort on our journey. It becomes the feminine way or portal into the Divine. 

Our endocrine system ascends into its new, empowered role of leading us back to God. The Pineal, Pitutary, Thymus, Adrenal glands, the Vagus nerve, the Psoas muscle, and so many other organs now begin to pulsate with new wisdom. We begin to discover the metaphysical chambers of the heart. Women discover their personal temple, the womb.

Self Love awakens: When the need for constant approval, acceptance, safety, protection is over, when we have forgiven ourselves and others, when our self-talk is no longer harsh or critical, we have come into self love. We love ourselves too much to spoil even one day in useless emotions, laziness or working at what does not excite us. We lead juicy lives, follow our dreams and passions with confidence, and exude joy as our base emotion. We honor and love ourselves unconditionally. Self-responsibilty is another aspect of self-love. Coming into self-love does not necessarily mean one has a perfect life. It means one takes responsibility for all our choices, decisions and 

True Spirituality awakens: It is only when the emotional healing has happened, & the cracks and fissures in the soul are healed, is one's life energy radiant enough to step into living a divinely inspired life. One's decisions & choices now come from abundance, love and wisdom. We know that our choices create our consciousness. The understanding of the universal principles are uncontaminated by mis-interpretations. As one increases one's light quotient, one progressively understands higher truths, and radiates more love. Divine will is understood, and honored. This spirituality is inclusive, egalitarian, respectful of all life forms, and co-creates along with mother earth, a heaven on earth.

Truth of Relationships is revealed: Finally, the war of the sexes comes to an end. We drop the victim-opressor drama. Self love and self responsibility ends the co-dependent relationships. We begin to understand the higher aspects of relationships. We realize that relationships are not meant to fill our incompletions and insecurities, but to stand committed to each other's soul journeys. We live as completely free individuals, and allow complete freedom & support to our partner to pursue their soul journey. We already have self love as the base, so we are not craving, needy people, or even insecure, holding onto another for fulfillment.  In a relationship that is based on higher principles, we are willing to be open, humble and vulnerable at all times. The foundation of our relationship is based on truth. We fully understand that the 'other' outside of us can never fill our gaps. We work through our wounds in integrity, and every day, renew our contract with truth and love.

The Divine Feminine is leading the way: With the ending of Patriarchy, the new world order established on the Feminine Principles of compassion, love, nurturance, spirituality, egalitarianism, respect of nature, empowerment, collaboration, community and honouring of all. A Message from the Sun

Have you noticed that our sun is looking different? Perhaps its a new sun! I've been noticing that at sunrise and sunset it is no longer a ball of orange. Its more pale yellow, or close to white. And its size is big! As it its much closer. Sometimes I feel there are two suns, superimposed. The one behind is slightly raised, giving it a figure 8 shape. It is also emitting a whiter light.

I took some pics of the sunrise two days ago. Amazing! It was looking massive even without the use of zoom. Its probably become one with its aura. But notice the white light.

I meditated on the sun at sunrise, and asked for a message. This is what it communicated:

Message of the Sun:

'All walks of life now lead to light. The reasons for my changing light that I am changing my course and aligning myself to my next cycle of evolution taking my entire family in this journey. All of you dear ones, come with me in this ascending spiral. I am coming closer to the creator than I have ever been, as while my light is as dazzling as it has ever been to you, it is mellowing, softening and becoming kinder. As you evolve with me you will not feel the harshness of the sun as it will no longer scorch you.
You will find a new element is my rays. There is more tungsten in it now, and it has a new energetic formation and sacred geometry. These rays will help you in your ascension. Do know that the light I transmit to you is received from the heart of the creator, as I evolve; I send to you a more rarefied light.
Drink more solarised water – water that has been kept in the sun – one hour or even half an hour is sufficient now. Invite me to be with you as rings of light around you. The time comes now for heaven and earth to be one – my changing light is clearing all the oppressive masculine energies of the planet as the gentler aspect of the Masculine surfaces. Enjoy the process as it becomes easy for you to be in your practice of ascension.

Conversations with Lao Tzu (Part II)

Lao Tzu is sitting in a deeply contemplative posture, yet he is able to convey a relaxed, breezy existence. He is far away and present at the same time. I sense that he is aware and yet oblivious of me. By now, my 3D mind is getting used to the maddening 'contradictions' that he embodies.
I let go a deep sigh - I am not sure if it is contentment or acceptance or both. As I fall into a deeper relaxation, I asks my mind to give up categorizing, labeling every act of mine, shut up and go to sleep. Immediately I sense a deeper slipping into relaxation. As the two of us sit simply and peacefully, the silence around us grows deeper. I allow the silence to penetrate every cell, and slowly, the noise quietens down. It is finally all right to be simply sitting, in non-doing. Ah! The sheer pleasure of it.
What was that? I think I heard a strain of music. Perhaps I imagined it. Ah, There it was again! I go deeper into the experience, falling into a music most divine. It cannot be compared to anything I have heard before, and yet it was achingly familiar. I felt all sense of boundary falling away, as I literally expanded into endless space. By now the music was surging and powerful. it was pulsing and reverberating through everything around. The entire cosmos was singing a unified symphony! I was loosing myself into it fast, or perhaps it was fully taking over. Finally, the last gossamer chord that kept me held to myself was also released.
I have no clue how long I was lost in this divine ecstasy. I only recall going deeper and deeper into space in great speed. And then, as if I was called back. An unknown tug pulled me back and a process of contraction began. As body consciousness returned, I slowly opened my eyes. Lao tzu was sitting in a peaceful posture. He slowly turned around and our eyes met. In a timeless moment, a world of communication happened. My heart was brimming with gratitude, and I silently bowed to the great master for this unforgettable experience.
In deep silence, it was acknowledged. We simply sat in the fullness of the moment.

Conversation with Lao Tzu (Part I)

Lao Tzu and I are sitting in a bamboo clearing, having a conversation.
Lao Tzu ‘ the teacher is the one who sits under the shade of a tree. He has no striving. Striving is the sign of the student.’
I ask him, ‘what is striving?’
He replies, ‘ striving is catching the pulse of the soul and using it as a way to move ahead. My message is only one. Connect to your path and walk on it. Bring your living requirements to the minimum, and immerse yourself in the study of the soul, the spirit, this immeasurable universe,' he says with the expanse of his hand.
Then with a twinkle of his eye, he asks, 'do you have anything better to do? If you do, go ahead and do it, as I sit back and relax.'
This was getting dangerously close to being dismissed, so I quickly asked again, 'dear Master, when will I also just sit like you under the bamboo shade, with nothing to do?'
He laughed, ' you want to sit here like me under the shade of the bamboo trees, doing nothing? You would be bored to death! Many have tried, some have succeeded to an extent too, but eventually run away. See, your body yearns for action, your muscles are impatient to move, your eyes are restless to see, your legs want to walk around the vicinity, and your mind is all over.'
With a sweet smile he said, 'stay as long as you desire. When the desire burns out, allow the next one to take you where it wills.'
Hmm. I couldn't decide if that was a gentle snub to my spiritual aspirations, or an initiation into my next level of practice. In my heart I knew he spoke the truth. I was strangely at peace, simply sitting in the bamboo clearing, for once, not feeling compelled to do anything, say anything, or even decide anything.
The Master was walking around quietly in the clearing as I half watched, half dozed. His footsteps were soundless and his long flowing robe made a musical soft sound in the breeze. A very divine fragrance filled the air. I saw the him shape a piece of bamboo into a flute. There was complete stillness as he worked, just the gentle breeze through the bamboo leaves. There was not a soul around as far as I knew. After an indecipherable amount of time his flute was done. He handled the flute with a gentleness that communicated with it.

He came back and sat down in the clearing again. He looked at me with a glint in his eyes. He possessed the liveliest eyes I'd ever seen. I simply watched him with respect. He did not speak. He played with the flute in his hands for a long time. I would have loved to know what he was communicating with it. Eventually, he put it to his lips. I waited for the melodious sound to float through the air. Nothing happened! The master was immersed in the play of the flute, but the music was not audible to my material ears. I knew his music filled the spheres, I could sense it in an uncanny way in my heart.
Slowly, I felt as if my sense of self began to expand. A soothing, comforting feeling enveloped me. I drifted into a reverie.

The one thing that mankind has forgotton and is now time to remember is soul consciousness. No matter what you do, even if you fulfil all your desires and fulfilment all your pleasures, the fulfilment of your soul will not happen until you have inhabited the kingdom of god. So come into the fold of this realm now. Enjoy the bliss and glory of this world. It is so many times magnified as compared to the realm you think you will find fulfilment. The impious and the impervious will have to stall, take stalk, and enter into the realm of Gauranga’s love. My mission on earth was to distribute this love to all and sundry, and to whoever, to ignite the hearts of as many as possible.

Those were wondrous times when the Lord incarnated, and when the job of distributing His bhakti was performed by me. I had sung and danced in this land of Navadvipa, and my passion exists here. Those who connect to it will feel and experience it even now, and connect me to your heart. I bless you all.

The Return of Bhaki

The sun shines brighter by the day, and so does the moon. And tomorrow is the most beauteous full moon, grandiose and fuller than ever. it shines with the love of Gouranga, The beautiful one, the radiant one. Those of you at Navadvipa are fully blessed, and those who remember the pastimes of Gouranga are blessed too. This is the time of resurgence of Bhakti. Bhakti of the rarest and refined realms will be revealed to those of you whose hearts are open. The bhakti that will be revealed now will cause the heart to become extremely tender and soft. There will be a melting down of the gross body because of the fire of bhakti that will burn all impurities. This fire of bhakti will bring a fluidity and flow in your body, in all your movements and in your life. The greatest of offences is nullified in the fire of bhakti. No matter what you have done till now, in this moment I clearly declare that all of those who light the fire of bhakti in their hearts now, will be completely cleared. The bhakti that I talk about is simple like a child crying for the attention of its mother, like a calf seeking its mother. Just like Krishna would bring the cows’ home at dusk, bhakti brings you back home at the dusk of the current age. And tomorrow, when the new sun shines, the cowherd lord will take the cows out to graze again.

The beauty of the world of devotion, its true meanings, colours and variations can be enjoyed to the fullest now. New meanings will be opened to you, and these will not come from scriptures, or mouths of guru’s. These will be revealed from the codings of your own heart. Do not be surprised if tears will flow, if your hair will stand on end, if the love in your heart will make you shake and tremble. The more you go deeper into this state, the more light you bring into yourself, and the more expansion you bring into your space. I bless you all on this auspicious occasion of Gaur Purnima. May the nectar of devotion fill your hearts now.
